Community Conversations

Community Conversations are designed to bring people together for purposeful and thoughtful dialogue. We create a safe space to share knowledge and mobilize the ideas, skills and passions of our community. We are working to build relationships and bridge divides while finding solutions together.

Community Conversations launched in the Fall of 2020 with Bridge Builders, a three-part series focused on crossing the divide between community and law enforcement. Visit our calendar for the current schedule.

"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.” ~ Wilma Rudolph | U.S Olympic Champion

Community Events

The Mary Parker Foundation develops and hosts a variety of signature events to nurture the whole community. We engage others by sharing resources, supplying knowledge, and building relationships. And we empower its people to create positive change in their lives.

  • AHA Partnership programs , such as Fulton Fresh Market

  • Drive-In Theatre

  • Turkey Giveaway

  • Family Fun Fest

  • Community Garden

  • Giving Hands uplifts disadvantaged children in the community by providing clothing, toys, and meals during the winter holidays. All children deserve the opportunity to be surrounded by the joy of the season! The Foundation partners with the Motherless Daughter Foundation and Children of Incarcerated Parents for this inspirational event.
